I created a custom dropdown menu using the html macro and the menu doesn't overlap the lower sections. It just expands in the section the macro is in. Is there a way to fix this?
Hi @eric osborne ,
You can create a dropdown selection with our Handy Macros for Confluence app.
Its feature Handy Status allows users to create custom status sets with unlimited number of statuses to choose from. This is configured easily without any technical skills needed.
Later on, you and other users can reuse these dropdown menus across multiple Confluence pages if needed. Handy Status can be changed in the page view mode without switching to the edit mode so it saves you lots of time.
Hi @eric osborne ,
Don't think this approach will workto get to your solution. Since you are implementing within a macro, it will be contain within the macro.
You may want to look at customizing the page with a velocity template/menu.
Here's the documentation to get started:

Hope this helps.
