Creating content from the sidebar

Dears,

I'm having trouble changing my pages directly from the sidebar quick actions. See screenshot below what I mean.

Can you teach me how to activate that option? I've been trying in settings but there isn't much I can do from there.

I'm afraid you are right and I don't think I have Confluence Cloud, my version is Powered by Atlassian Confluence 7.19.8.

Well, that is really said, I must say that the quick options feature is one of the best things confluence has. I used to have it in my previous job and got used to it.

If you know any workaround let me know.

Hi @Vasco Carvalho de Sousa and welcome to Community!

From the visual aspect of your screenshot, my guess is that you are on Confluence on premise (Server or Data Center). If you scroll down to the bottom of your Confluence page, do you see a version number, such as 8.1 ? A version number means on premise/not Cloud. Another way to tell is the url: does the url of your Confluence include atlassian.net ? If not, you are on premise. All Confluence Cloud instances include atlassian.net in the url.

The features in the second screenshot are from Confluence Cloud, and I don't know the latest versions of Confluence DC to know if any of them have been released, but my guess is that they have not. The majority of fancy new features are released on Cloud only, unfortunately.
