Hi there,
I would like to create a page on confluence where I can select options in two Dropdown lists and then display a table with the results that are in my spreadsheet.
First Dropdown: Select 'Type'
Second Dropdown (based on what is selected above: Select 'Brand'
Based on the Selection I would like to display a list of all the relevant models. I have about 300 models across the spreadsheet. Below is the structure of my spreadsheet.
Could you please tell me the best way (and possibly low-code) to do this if this is feasible?
Appreciate your help. thank you.
Hi @PRASHANT SINGH ,
Not sure if you are talking about a spreadsheet that is provided by a specific 3rd party app from the Atlassian Marketplace or about Excel/Google Spreadsheet file that is outside of Confluence but you want to get the same functionality right in Confluence.
If you are talking about the first option, please clarify which app you are using.
If it happens so that you use our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app and its Table Spreadsheet macro, then please check this Community question. There @Katerina Rudkovskaya [Stiltsoft] explains how to create dependent dropdowns.
If you are talking about the second option, then it is not possible to implement out of the box. You'll need to find a suitable app on the Atlassian Marketplace.
Thank you. Yes I am talking about the second option. I have data in a excel spreadsheet and I want to build a functionality in confluence that allows me to have 2 dropdowns (may be in a confiform?) and on click of a button have the results (models in my case) displayed in a table on the same confluence page.
I understand from your Answer that its not natively possible, but if I could get some suggestions for apps that might make this possible in confluence, it would be great!

So, I've already suggested a workaround using out Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app.
And, as you've mentioned a confiform, it seems that you have the ConfiForms app installed - let's tag @Alex Medved _ConfiForms_ , maybe he'll be able to provide you with a solution for your case.

Thanks for engaging me in the conversation @Stiltsoft support
And yes, @PRASHANT SINGH - easily possible to implement with ConfiForms with a straightforward import from an excel/csv when/if needed
Feel free to open a support ticket with us if you need help with this

Thanks @Stiltsoft support and Alex. Yes I do have ConfiForms app installed. I will raise a support request once I receive the SEN from our admin.
