Creating Templates In Confluence

Question

Please can you help/feedback information on creating templates.

With the new editor in confluence it's hard to do the below,

1. Change history cannot be added in templates under page properties anymore.
2. Variables cannot be filled after the page from a template is created. It should allow to fill variables after page is created.
3. Placeholder text doesn’t appear until the page is created.

Please can you confirm if you have any feedback on this?

Hi Tara,

Maybe our Page Tree Creator (PTC) could fulfill some of your requirements.

* If you have thought about the change history of the template: You can do this with the PTC.
* This functionality will be added by the end of 2020. At the moment all variables are filled in when the page is created.
* I would have to discuss this with the development team.
