We often have the problem to be uncertain, in which space to place a specific information.
To mitigate this, I thought about establishing a label for each space. In every space there should then be a page that aggregates all pages containing the spaces label. In order to keep this list straight, I would like to exclude all the pages from the current space.
My idea is to use the "content report table" or the "content by label" macro.
But I don't see an option to exclude a space.
I saw your more recent question, but I thought I would answer this one instead. It does not seem possible to currently exclude a space from the Content Report Table macro (although it would be possible to duplicate the functionality on Confluence Cloud via the CQL Search addon).
It is possible to exclude a space using the "content by label" macro, though, but it is not very intuitive. This requires that you be running 5.9 which includes the new CQL features. What you need to do is to add a filter for the space, then type the negative/minus symbol (-) and start typing the name of the space. Once you click on the space name, the minus symbol will be included in the name, and now it will exclude that space from the results. You can also further restrict your results to type "Page" if necessary by adding an additional filter.
