Hi,
I created a space and I want that every new user can only read this space. For some users, I want to add "edit group" to allow editing (add new pages, modify existen pages, delete..).
Confluence-users group is the default group automatically assigned at every new users. In "managing space permission" for this group I leave only "All - View" checkbox. The result is that users under this group can do anything on the space: read, edit, create, delete everything.... it seems that Confluence do not check permission! Is there another way to achieve my goal?
Thank you

Hi,
I resolved following this: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Read-Only-Permissions-in-Confluence/qaq-p/378686
But the secondo step is more difficult :-)
I've created a lot of pages hierarchies. For the read-only group I want to give a write permission to one hierarchy (root page and all child pages). Is it possible in confluence permission option?
thank you
Regards
