Confluence: how to display and sync other page's certain content in another page

funny August 10, 2022

Hi all,

Scenario: There are 2 confluence pages. I want to display Page 1's specific image/process/paragraph in Page 2.  When this content in Page 1 updates, it is also auto refreshed in Page 2.

What macros that can realize below function?  I have tried anchor, but it is displayed as a link\button in Page 2, instead of the image/process/paragraph itself.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @funny,

Did you come across the Excerpt macro yet? You put the content you want to re-use on a different page in the macro and simply include it on the other page using the Excerpt Include macro. Read more about it in the documentation: Excerpt Macro

To display full page, make use of include page macro

@Max Foerster - K15t  it seems that one page can only insert one Excerpt include?

You can add multiple Excerpt include macros to a page. Unfortunately, you can only define one Excerpt macro on a page you want to include somewhere else. That's why you can find multiple apps on the Atlassian Marketplace introducing a "Multi Excerpt" feature.
