Confluence help page redirects to wrong mobile version of the site

Maxim Suharev December 9, 2019

We're using short link to iOS help page: https://help.worldapp.com/x/voDJAg (Full link:  https://help.worldapp.com/display/FHC/Form.com%3A+iOS+App+Guide)

It shows expected content when opened on a Desktop (or iPads which requests Desktop version of the site), but when opened  on a Mobile device it's redirected to https://help.worldapp.com/plugins/servlet/mobile?contentId=46760126#dashboard/popular/1

and displays irrelevant content.

Hello Maxim,

Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to have you.

I'm testing this on my iPhone running iOS 13, and it does seem to work for me:

I'm able to confirm this on both Safari and Chrome. The only curious thing is that it loads the desktop site and not the mobile version. Did you disable the mobile version of the site to resolve the issue, perhaps?

Regards,

Shannon

Yes, we had to disable mobile version of the site, since it was redirecting to wrong page and our users could not see the needed content. Because of this issue, we're currently displaying a desktop version as a workaround.

Thanks for letting me know, Maxim.

Can you confirm; were you able to replicate this with other pages, or was it only the specific page?

Did this occur whether or not you were already logged into the Confluence instance on your device?

When did you first encounter this issue?

Thank you for your help!

Shannon
