Confluence: Code-type characters within a paragraph

Krisztina Vajda March 3, 2014

Is there any way to emphasize only some words within a paragraph - other way than bold, italic, or underline ?

We found that copying such a mixed paragraph from an html page and pasting it into Confluence doesn't change the original mixed character format of the paragraph. See below:

This is a paragraph containing code-type characters.

But how can I enter such type of characters into a paragraph directly?

Thank you

Krisztina

I don't think you can enter it directly.

Possible workarounds are your method (copying it from another source) or working with a macro that enables you to enter the needed code. The html macro should work with "<code>code-type</code>" or the span macro with a CSS class where you define the font formats.
