Confluence Autoconvert JIRA links

Kim Wall September 26, 2012

Hello!

I'm currently evaluating Confluence and am running into an issue with Autoconvert. It seems to work for things like Google Maps, but when I paste a link to a JIRA issue (my JIRA instance or even one from jira.atlassian.com) it does nothing.

I've checked the plugin and all modules are enabled.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm not sure, but maybe you're experiencing a communication problem. If that's the case, you need to import the certificates into both the Jira and Confluence cert stores so that they can both communicate with each other. You will need to do this due to accessing the Jira issue via https. Please, refer to the following documentation, it could help you to solve this problem, if that is the case:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Connecting+to+SSL+services

Hope it helps!

Kind Regards

I saw that, too, but since my current test environments for both JIRA and Confluence are not using HTTPS, would this be a factor? In production everything we have will be SSL, so this will definitely come into play, but should it matter if we're just using HTTPS?

Thanks!

Kim
