Changing the LDAP sychronization interval when user directory is live

Alaine Pabayos April 13, 2014

Currently, our Confluence is connected to our LDAP. However, we want to lessen the interval as we don't want to put burden to our server. As instructed, it has to be done when the user directory is being set-up. Is there a way to configure the synchronization interval of the LDAP when the user directory is live?

Hi Alaine,

As far as I know, you can change the sync interval by simply editing the LDAP directory in confluence.

Note that the option to edit the directory will only show if you are using a local administrator or some other admin who is not part of the LDAP directory.

Just click on the edit link on the directory and change the sync interval to the desired value.

Cheers,

Rodrigo

Hi Rodrigo,

Confirmed that we can update the directory when logging in using local administrator account. Thank you for your answer
