We are setting up a Playbook in our instance of Confluence. We will have dozens of child pages for each "play". We want users to be able to search the Playbook, by assigning each Play a category, but unclear how to do this. We only can find suggestions on adding labels, but the search results list all Space-related keyword findings.

We are hoping to add a blog-style categorization for JUST this part of the space. Is there a marco search we can assign which parent page to search?

@Stephanie.Kurtz Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

If you assign a unique label to each page in a single playbook, you could then:

  1. Add the Live Search macro (https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-livesearch-macro/) on the main page for a playbook (top parent)
  2. Add the unique label in the Restrict to label(s) parameter

This should allow users to go to the "Playbook A" main page and search within that playbook.

If you use a template for these main pages, I would add the Live Search macro in your template, so you can just modify the configuration with the label for that playbook.
