Hi,
I'm an admin for our Confluence cloud instance along with a couple of other admin users. We are all part of the site-admins group. One of the admins has left the organisation and I can't remove them from the site-admin group or revoke their site access. I keep getting an error that I don't have permission to remove site access for the user.
The user I couldn't remove was an Org Admin. I created a support request and the Atlassian team did some behind the scenes permissions changes to make me the Org Admin instead.
Hi Toby,
I had the same issue.
Fix:
- Go to https://admin.atlassian.com/ and sign-in if prompted.
- Click on your Organization name.
- Click on Settings >> Administrators.
- Remove the User.
- Go back to User Management and you'll be able to Revoke Site Access for this user.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I don't have any Organization settings available, only site settings.

No worries, sorry couldn't be of much help there.
Looks like your Admin would be the go-to person.
Cheers.

I am an Org admin and I'm trying to remove Confluence from 2 site admins, but all options for JSW, JSM & Confluence are grayed out. I want to leave them access to JSM & JSW. Is there a way I can remove their Confluence?
