Hi, I am new to Confluence and we are using it to support our Contact Centre team as a knowledge base.
We currently use an Excel doc for agents to select fields and get subject codes / information to share with customers.
e.g. in field 1 they select option A,
for field 2 this only gives them options E,F,G, - select G
In field 3 now only have H,I,J,K - select J
Field 4 now presents A.
Is this something that could be on a Confluence page and be used without having to edit the page?
Thanks in advance!
Mark
Hi @Mark Emerson ,
To filter tables (aggregate your tabular data and visualize it) you'll need to have additional apps from the Atlassian Marketplace.
We can suggest using the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app.
It works both with manually created tables and CSV attachments or Spreadsheets (you'll need the Table from CSV macro for the latter).
Here is an example how to filter your tables in the page view mode right on the fly.
And after the filtration, you'll be able to export your filtered table into pdf, csv and Word formats and share the results with your customers and other colleagues.
You may also book a live demo from our team - we'll be glad to show different use cases related to filtering, aggregating and reusing tables in Confluence.
