Can I make automatic multilevel list?

Marina Ivakhnenko January 29, 2019

I need to make multilevel list like this:

1. text

     1.1 text

     1.2 text

2. text

      2.1 text

      2.2 etc

Confluence makes numbered list auromatically if I put 1. and press space. But if I put 1.1 - it doesn't make it a list. May be there are such specail macros for multilevel lust?

Thank's in advance for help.

Hi @Marina Ivakhnenko,

there's a comercial app named Numbered Headings with exactly this behaviour. You can find it here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/16063/numbered-headings?hosting=server&tab=overview

Try it for free with an evaluation license.

Thanks for your answer!

Actually, this app works only with headings. Are there such app that can work with text? It's not very convenient to transfer all the text into heading.

I'm looking for an answer to this exact question. I also found Number Headings and do like the way it will allow you to make your headings numbered, but I am also looking for a way to create a multilevel list:

1. Something

     1.1

     1.2

          1.2.1

          1.2.2

2. Something else

     2.1

     2.2
