I am working on a Wordpress website for the company i work for and i have been tasked with setting up a search bar that searches the confluence database of the company. Currently i have achieved this using html and Javascript but was wondering if there is a better way to achieve this using Confluence API, reason being i would like auto fill that occurs when you search on Confluence but on my Wordpress search bar. I have looked around but couldn't find anything compatible with Wordpress apart from scroll WP Publisher and Power scripts, however neither worked. Are there any plans for a future search bar API from confluence? Alternatively what other ideas have people used before?
