I was wonder when creating a knowledge base article from a Jira ticket is it possible to automatically pull across the attachments on that Jira ticket into the confluence page?
No it is not possible.
I am guessing that is because the KB post is a generic post (visible by all customers in your customer portal), where as a Jira Ticket with attachments is customer specific. Would you want a customers attachment to be shared with everyone who has access to the KB post?
Thanks @Mike Bowen , I thought that'd be the case but wanted to confirm.
Our library team are using Jira to handle research request & Confluence to share their findings. I guess they could upload their research /attachments directly Confluence and share it as a link back to the customer.
