Auto update information when source page/project information updates Edited

Miguel I'm New Here Nov 30, 2017

I'm a complete noob here so apologies if I dunno the terms much. I'm creating a page where there's this table that I've taken/copied from another page. How can I set/link the table in my page to auto-update its information when the source table's information changes/updates?

Hey Miguel,

You can't do that through a copy/paste. What you need to do:

1. Identify one page/table as the source of truth

2. Create that as an excerpt macro

3. Use the excerpt macro in the other pages to include content from the parent page

Have a look at https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/excerpt-include-macro-148067.html
