Arsensal Lockpoint deactivates Attachment Action Macros

Hi,

since i use Arsenal Lockpoint to lock Officde Document during the editing process, i can not activate the Attachment Action Macros anymore. Becuase of this i can't rename my attachments when the Lockpoint PlugIn is installed.

Did anybody know how i can solve this incompatibility?

Fabian,

The Attachment Actions Plugin is the Confluence system component responsible for providing the links for not only Properties, but also for Remove and other related functions. In order for Lockpoint to function correctly, we need to apply a different set of permissions to each of these links, and the targets of the URLs also need to be changed. For this reason, Lockpoint disables certain portions of the Attachment Actions plugin and replaces each disabled component with its own equivalent functionality.

In the case of the Properties link/button, we do not remove the feature entirely. Instead, we require that the user first lock the document before the Properties link/button will appear. Managing this link is a necessary and essential part of the locking process, since one can rename a file and/or move it to another space by way of the default Properties link. A file that is locked by another user should not be renamed or moved, so we require users to initiate a lock before they can take those actions with a file.

I hope this explains the functionality of the system in more detail.
