Are Confluence's tiny links (shortened URLs) static?

Are those Tiny Links static or do they ever change?

Thanks for the confirmation Kyle, I'm afraid those are static and based in your content id as you can see in below improvement ticket sad:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-27049

Tks,

David

That's actually what I was hoping for! Thanks for figuring this one out.

Agreed, static links are very useful for me as well. I'll go check out the ticket.

Hey Kyle, Just to get a better picture of which "tiny links" you are refering, can you send us a screenshot of those? Tks, David

From Tools, it's the "Tiny Link" provided when you click "Link to this Page...". It's offered as an alternative to the link based off of the page's name. Example: http://myhost/confluence/x/pBI4Aw
