Appeared errors after migration of database

kskrypnyk October 21, 2016

Hi all,

Please help. I migrated database (mysql) from one server to new one. And after load dump to database i made all rules by documentation. I mean the steps (https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-fix-the-collation-and-character-set-of-a-mysql-database-670958160.html)

But I receive the next error in each page with data :

Error: The XML content could not be parsed. There is a problem at line 1, column 959. Parser message: Unexpected EOF; was expecting a close tag for element <h2> at [row, col {unknown-source}]: [1,959]

How to fix it?

P.S. Resolution by the link (https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/confluence-throws-the-xml-content-could-not-be-parsed-error-when-viewing-a-page-333808277.html), I told about step #2 didn't help me. And the first one didn't try, because this error is on all pages.

Thanks everyone for the help

The data stored is very broken as something has caused all the pages stored to become malformed xml.  I think you're going to need to start from the old data again.

I'd guess it was the "fix collation" stuff you did, rather than the migration.  I assume the migration was a mysql dump and restore, so the new database was identical?   Did you test against that before doing the collation stuff?
