I have a public space which I allow Anonymous View. For Firefox users, can view as normal but Chrome cannot. It just shows "This is a restricted space". Can anyone help?
Hello there @KIMHTY Chanthoeun ! As I understand, users are facing issues when accessing a anonymously accessible space with Confluence. Is that correct?
If this is indeed the issue, we can go ahead and try to Clear the browser cache:
After clearing the browser cache, you can go ahead and try again to reach the page.
What could be happening is that your Chrome browser has an active user session and that user does not have access to the space.
For short, Confluence permissions are additive. You must specify who can access the content. If you enable Anonymous access it does not automatically grant access to logged users.
For more details on that, you can see this article from Atlassian:
Looking forward to your reply @KIMHTY Chanthoeun !
Hello @Diego ,
I have permissions for logged in user and anonymous. Previously, anonymous view was working but now no. Do you know why and how to solve this?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Hey there @KIMHTY Chanthoeun ! Can you clarify if the anonymous access is unavailable in both Chrome and Firefox?
If an anonymous user (not logged in) works in Firefox, it should work in Chrome as well.
Further, is it possible for you to try and test this on a third browser?
Looking forward to your reply Chanthoeun!
