After upgrade to Confluence version 8.1.1 I can no longer add a comment to a page.

The exact error is "Failed to save the comment. Please try again later".

Picture1.pngPicture2.pngI also have another observation, don't know if it is related.  When I edit a page I can no longer see the uploaded images.

With the help from support, it turned out to be the Teams Files plugin.  Everything worked once that plugin was uninstalled.

@Applied Minds There could be several different things causing this.  Can you provide some additional information.

What DB are you using?  What error are you seeing in the Confluence log when you try to add comments?   Are you adding a comment or inline comment?

The image issue is most likely part of this reported issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-45746

PostgreSQL 9.6.3

The following in from my log after attempting to add "This is a Test" in the comment field.
