Adding items on Table of Contents

Hello - I'm trying to add a new section to an existing TOC on Confluence, but it's not allowing me to. I tried modifying the min. and max. heading level, but this doesn't change anything.

Can you please advise on how I can go about this?

Thanks in advance, Atlassian Community!

Hello @Tesalonica Casillan

Welcome to the community.

Are you using Confluence Cloud or Confluence Server/Data Center? If you URL is similar to the following then you are using Confluence Cloud.

The Table of Contents content is generated automatically based on you applying the Heading formats to text in the page.

The Heading numbers correspond to the Levels that will be displayed when you configure the Table of Contents macro.

If you want some content in your page to appear in the TOC, apply the appropriate Heading format to it.
