Adding entire directory to group

Carla Woodgate November 30, 2016

How would I add an entire user directory to a newly created group?  Or, how can I make newly added users default to a group?

We have imported the entire active directory into Confluence, but in order for anyone in the directory to have access, we have to go in, one user at a time, and add them to a specific group.  I have created a group for our entire field and want to move all active directory users to that group.  How would I go about doing this?

Thank you

Hi Carla,

Confluence doesn't provide a bulk tool for this by default.  However, there are plenty of User Management add-ons in the Atlassian Marketplace; the User Updater for Confluence looks like it can do what you want (although it's not free).
