Hello community :)
I have configured a action button it changes a status field it works perfect, i was wondering if possible to make it available just to the record owner,
can you help me out here :)
Hi @Fady Mousa
Yes, you can
Set the edit/view restrictions parameters on the "Action Button" field definition, as you do on any other field
True that there was a recent fix in this area, so you might need to be sure you are using a ConfiForms 3.6.1 or later https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Release+Notes#ReleaseNotes-Version3.6.1

[entry.createdBy]
As you want to access the value from a field "createdBy", not have a "createdBy" as your text value

Hi @Fady Mousa ~ I'm not sure if this is possible OOB, but we use the Brikit Theme Press add-on which includes a "Restrict Content" macro which does this: https://www.brikit.com/display/glossary/Restrict+Content+Macro
There may be some user macro you could create, though I have not researched....

Hi @Laurie Sciutti thanks for advice.
I believe it could be done in #confiforms.
Maybe @Alex Medved _ConfiForms_ can help.
Still Brikit looks a good idea, ill give it a shot 😀

@Fady Mousa / @Fady Mousa ~ looks like that is done via the Field Definition macro: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/How-can-I-restrict-editing-on-a-field-in-Confiforms-but-still/qaq-p/922638
