AWS EFS Storage for confluence causes permission issues

Stephen Bennett November 26, 2020

hi

trying to get confluence deployed to kubernetes in aws. I have it running successfully but when i try and attach it to EFS storage it creates creates the confleunce home folder / file structure in EFS then errors with the below error:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/confluence-does-not-start-due-to-unable-to-clean-the-cache-directory-error-251005962.html

(following this guide does not resolve the issue). From reading the dockerhub intro it says that the container starts as root then updates to confluence. Is that the problem and the reason why it cant access the files? and if so is there a work around?

Any got a fully functioning confluence on kubernetes up and running?
