How to have a text and macros on the same line in Confluence?

Edited

Hi,

I am getting mad in trying to get the output of a macro on the same line as a basic text input.

I want to have this sentence "Closure date is....and status is...."

Dashes are replaced with for the first one, a report on macro that picks a date and the latter with a List Data macro where to select a status from a drop down list (in Edit Content mode).

When I built the sentence the List Data macro will appear on the next line thus the result will be:

Closure date is 12-06-2022 and status is

On track

How can I have the status output on the same line?

Is there something to be done with any wiki-markup and if yes how?

Many thanks in advance

Rick

Hi  @Ricky Rich

I'm not sure that you can achieve this...

There are only a little few macros, which you can use inline.

I'm assuming, that you use the scaffolding forms app, which will give you the ability to use the list data macro.

Perhaps, you can write to the support of scaffolding, and these guys have a better idea.

Regards, Dominic

Hi Dominic,

Thanks for your advice. Indeed I am using a List Data macro to generate the drop down list.

I will ask support to Rocket Service then. In the meantime I found a workaround ans decided to show data in column i:o a sentence.

Cheers

Rick
