Edit with Excel not working

Question

Hi, I have an issue editing with Excel.  When I try to edit with Excel, seemingly nothing happens.  The same steps below work perfectly fine when editing a Word file (.docx).

Steps:

* Find a .xlsx file in a file list.
* Click Edit file.
* In the upper right, choose Edit with... Excel 2016.
* Nothing happens.

System:

* Windows 10
* Atlassian Companion 0.1.5
* Browsers:
* Edge
* IE 11
* Chrome latest
* Firefox latest

* Confluence 1000.0.0-b95545ff398
* Office 2016

Any ideas what is going on?
