automated stash setup

Setting up a new stash instance usually seems to involve quite some manual input in the web-based wizard.

Is there some official way to specify the needed preferences in advance to avoid any manual setup and allow an automated stash setup process?

You can use prepared database dump, cleaned from such records as license. So, if you use some packaging system (like debian based, for example https://bitbucket.org/lelik/atlassian-stash-deb), you can perform post installation task to presetup database.

Then Stash will start as it started from backup.
