Viewing all diffs before creating pull request

Chris Tromans January 12, 2014

Is it possible to view all the code diffs 'before' creating a pull request? I know you can see the list the list of commits but I can't seem to see the overall diffs that will go into the pull request - essentially a preview of the tree you see on the left once the pull request has been created.

GitHub has this functionality but Stash doesn't seem to. We currently use GitHub but may want to look at moving to Stash and this is possibly a killer for us as lots of times people create pull requests full of rubbish and this gives them a chance to check before creating it.

Hi Chris,

Not at the moment unfortunately. There is a feature request that we definitely plan on implementing. You may want to vote on the following:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/STASH-3276

Otherwise you can always run the diff locally, but I'm assuming that's not quite what you're looking for?

Charles
