Teamcity intermittently can't connect after password change

Tony Kiernan May 10, 2019

We have a generic Bitbucket account we use to pull repositories for Teamcity.  Recently the password for this was changed.  Now, most of the time, the job fails at the first step

Failed for the root '"Bitbucket Tags" {instance id=120, parent internal id=20, parent id=Www_BitbucketTags, description: "https://bitbucket.org/xxx/xx#refs/heads/master"}: List remote refs failed: org.eclipse.jgit.errors.TransportException: https://bitbucket.org/xxx/xx: git-upload-pack not permitted

I say "most of the time because, annoyingly, this is intermittent.  Insofar as if I enter the same new password and test the connection it will often connect happily.  Sometimes even run the job.  But, not for long

Any ideas?

Hi @Tony Kiernan , I realize this is a rather old post but I am trying to go through and clean out some of the old stuff. Is this issue still happening? If so can you provide more details on what troubleshooting you’ve done? If the problem has subsided was there something you did to address it that you could share here?
