Need to run git gc on my remote repository

My repository increased over 2GB and i am unable to commit changes on remote repo.
can you please run git gc on me remote repo.

I ran a git gc for this repo and its size went down to 160.1 MB.

Hi @Theodora Boudale can you help me too. my repository increased over 2GB different with my local repository. so i think i need to git gc on the server repo.
