On my local machine,
I have Installed Git and then trying to install BitBucket server (atlassian-bitbucket-7.6.0-x64) on windows I got error, unable to find Git in installation window of atlassian-bitbucket-7.6.0-x64. I stopped and uninstalled and reinstalled Git. Got same error second time.
After proceeding by ignoring error, I completed installation of server. Then tried to configure bitbucket.properties file with,
plugin.bitbucket-git.path.executable=/usr/local/bin/git
but it didn't worked and I am unable to start bitbucket server from browser. I am getting fatal error,
Git was not found on the PATH for Bitbucket
Installation Details:
Git Installation Location:- C:\Program Files\Git
Git Version: 2.28.0 64-bit
BitBucket Installation Location:- C:\Atlassian\Bitbucket\7.6.0
BitBucket data directory:- C:\Atlassian\ApplicationData\Bitbucket
BitBucket version:- 7.6.0 64-bit
Please try solve this issue ASAP.
