Move out License assignment from group

Hello,

I'm fairly new is this system. 

Today we assign bitbucket and confluence licenses via a Jira-group. 

I would like to move this function out of the existing group into two seperate groups due to the original group have a lot of other permissions to projects connected to it. 

Is there a simple way to do this? How do you assign the license from group membership?

Hi Fredrik,

Licenses in Bitbucket Server are attached to global permissions, so if you want to give a license to a group in Bitbucket Server, navigate to the Global Permissions section of the admin section and assign the desired permissions there.

Thank you for your reply. 

I can see the groups there, but im not able to change the bitbucket user section, it's greyed out. I'm not able to add or remove user from that section either. Do I have to log on as another user?

I believe I  found what I was looking for. I had to create the group in Jira and sync it to bitbucket.
