I want to upgrade my bitbucket server installation.

Hi,

I have installed the bitbucket server with this file (atlassian-bitbucket-6.6.2-x64.bin) now I am trying to upgrade with this file (atlassian-bitbucket-7.7.0.tar.gz). I have download files and extracet and checked from UI.

how can  I complete upgarde processs?

At a high level here are the steps:

1) Download and unzip the new package

2) Stop old installation

3) Migration customizations from old to new package (including home directory location)

4) Start the new bitbucket application

Once the new version has been started bitbucket will automatically upgrade the database.
