I've exceeded my user limit! How? How can I get back within my limits?

I just received a message saying "You've exceeded your user limit for (yours truly), restricting all your repositories to read-only access. Change your plan to restore write access." How can I change this back or reduce the users? I went to my projects and removed 2 old developers who are no longer here. But there are also other users who are part of a project I am not the admin of. Should I leave this project in order to continue as before?

Hi Vasiliki, welcome to the Community :) 

I've checked the Bitbucket account associated to this email address and I could see it's under the user limit. I've also checked one of the groups you're a part of, and I could also see it's under the user limit. 

Are you still getting that message? If you are, can you send us a screenshot and confirm that the email address associated to the Bitbucket Cloud account is correct?
