How to change bitbucket password

Hi,

 

I forgot bitbucket password, but i am able to login with gmail, but I don't know the bitbucket password, I tried forgot password.

We've sent you a verification email.

 We sent a recovery link to your email address:

example@example.com

 

but I am not receiving any mail.

 

How to reset my password? 

I want to pull a repository from the account

In case, you made the reset and did not receive the email. Please check your spambox.

Hi Kuldeep,

 

Seems that for some reason your email was announcing a 550 5.1.1 error.

Could you try to reset your password again?

Tq, I have reset my password.

I am having the EXACT same problem.  

I have tried to reset the password but the email never comes thru.  I can login with google but the change password will not work because of the current password error.  Why is this happening?  This solution for logging in is a serious bug that should be handled faster, don't you think?

Even https://bitbucket.org/account/password/reset/ linked worked for me. The mail I received was bit delayed... 2-3 mins gap was there and it worked for me. However, with other one also i got the mail almost instantaneously.

Hi all i faced the  same issue . So the solution for this is if you arr able to loginin abitbucket account using mail go to personal settings>> Account settings . There you will see your name and under that you will see a link as Atlassian account . Click on that and in security try to change password and also check the  recovery email provided is corrrect 

Same problem too. Atlasian, don't you think its time to resolve this situation??

i am facing same problem my email id is ghulam.hussain@discorp.com can you send the recovery link on this email?

All of the UIs to change or reset your password are confusing, or require you to already know your password. Please implement standard password management, and don't require people to enter their email on two different pages just to get a password reset email.

I have the same problem. I can't reset my password even with both of those solutions

I changed my password in gmail and I can successfully login in my atlasian using my email address with changed password but  I cant take pull my bit bucket code with new password i can able to take pull with only app password.

The exact same thing is happening to me. I am not able to push my code because I have forgotten my bitbucket password and when I try the recovery email, I am not receiving the email instead it logs me into the bitbucket account. Please help me it is really frustrating.

Change the password using the recovery link

Try to login with the newly changed password and still get errors.

It took 3 reset attempts to work

Seriously???

I am facing similar problem. Unable to change my atlassian password. Am able to login using my mail account.

I have the same problem. How can i change my password?

I was Facing same issue and need to Change AOL Email Password and I got resolved it through given link, so you can also check it and get expert suggestion on it.

WT* dude, we can't even set our passwords? Annoying...
