How do I uninstall Bitbucket Data Center

Hello, 

We installed Bitbucket Data Center in the wrong directory. We need to uninstall it and reinstall into the correct location. 

Is it safe to simply issue rm -fr path?

Broadly, yes, but you may have installed the data and application in different places, so you may want to check both first.  You should also check if you installed as a service - links beneath /etc to stop/start it on boot or shutdown etc.
