Hi,

Can we enable LFS by default for new repositories?

It defaults to ‘disabled’ as detailed here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/git-large-file-storage-794364846.html

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Tom, at the moment is not possible to have git LFS enabled by default. There was a Feature request for git LFS rest API endpoints that you can find at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-8935 but that's not really what you're asking for. If you'd like, you can submit your own Feature request at jira.atlassian.com; it's a good practice to make them as detailed as possible so other users can relate and vote for it.

Hope that helps!

Ana

Hi Ana,

Thanks for the response.

I would very much like to see this added as a feature and have made a suggestion as per your suggestion:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-10861

Thanks,

Tom
