Branches got deleted

Hi

We have like 10 different branches for each developer and 2 days before we found that 4 branches were gone. None of us know how this happened. Log file shows a message "post pull source branch deletion". This message is there 4 times but does not actually give me branch name. If I go into web interface I don't see those 4 branches in the repo and no info about those deleted branches. Very confused that we don't have any info regarding this. We need help in recovering the branches and need to find the root cause how it happened to make sure it wont happen again.
