Bitbucket to GitHub

Hello, 

I am trying to clone a  repository to my GitHub desktop application, however, it keeps asking me about my Usre_name@bitbucket.org password and user name. Does any one know anything about this?

Yes, I used the ssh and other methods from terminal but I noticed that bitbucket is connected to Git not GitHub, I think that was my confusion. I have it now downloaded on my desktop and from Atom I connected to the respiratory!

Hi Rawan, could you please tell me how I can check what bitbucket is connected to (i.e. Git or Github).

Are you cloning a Bitbucket repository using a Github application?
