Bitbucket: Set same permissions in all branches in all repositories of a project?

Hello all,

I have a project with multiple repositores (more than 100) and I would like to change the branch permissions in all the repositories, to have the same groups and permissions in all branches and in all repositories of the project.

If that possible to do? Maybe with the REST API?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Daniel, it won't be possible to achieve that through the UI, but you can do that using the REST API. You'll need to create a script using the REST endpoint listed in REST resources provided by Bitbucket Server.

To automate all the repos and projects, you'll need to pull all projects, then all repos per project, then loop through that and finally set the permissions.

If you need any further help while writing your script, I encourage you to join our Developer Community so they can help you with that :)
