Bitbucket Cluster

Sandeep Goru June 9, 2021

Installed Bitbucket on one EC2 instance on RH linux. Planning to install on another EC2 server and form a cluster and use a load balancer. Is it possible to do this and if yes how can I add the it ?

Hi Sandeep,

Yes, with a Bitbucket Data Center license it is possible to set up Bitbucket Server in a clustered fashion. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/development-tools-evaluator-resources/bitbucket/bitbucket-bitbucket-server-vs-bitbucket-data-center as a start.

Thank you Christian. From the definitions given in the link  that you gave ours is a bitbucket server. And planning to add another server and make it a cluster with a LB in front. When I try to add the same DB details as the primary node it fails to connect asking me to connect to an empty DB. Could you please tell me how I can add the new instance to this existing server.

Thanks in Advance,

Sandeep
