BitBucket Bug - Associated E-mail Addresses not getting added

When an Active Directory user tries to create a branch on GIT, it shows the following message:

"When performing a ref operation, the author must have an e-mail address"

Hi Aditya, this issue has already been reported at BSERV-9340. As a workaround:

  • Add an email for the user
  • Create the branch in working directory and push to repo

You can add yourself as a watcher to the bug ticket to be notified of further updates.
