After upgrading Git, old version is displayed in bracket.

After upgrading Git version from 2.30.0 to 2.40.0 in Bitbucket server 7.6.17, Under System information in Troubleshooting and Support tools, the older version is displayed in parenthesis. Why is this? Is something wrong? How to fix this? It was not the same when we upgraded to 2.30.0 long back.

When you execute "git --version" in the commandline with that precise path that is on the screenshot, do you see the new version printed?

I think you maybe upgraded Git, but that's available at another path.

The issue has got fixed. I had to restart the bitbucket server. Thank you.
