Authenticating over GIT with managed accounts using SSO

Managed accounts using organizational SSO need to use one of the following methods to authenticate with GIT on the Bitbucket Cloud platform:

  1. Use an app password for authentication: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/app-passwords/

  2. Switch to using SSH authentication: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/set-up-an-ssh-key/

We currently have a feature request to integrate more tightly with Access in the future, so that users can use their SSO passwords to perform Git operations. See https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-19778 to follow progress or add feedback.
