How to create a JIRA issue automatically, when bamboo build task fails

HI There,

I am new to Bamboo.

We are requested to create JIRA-Bug whenever build fails in the Bamboo Plan automatically.

Please advise.

Hi Sunder,

As I understand, there is no native way to do this from bamboo UI, there is an open ticket for this functionality here:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-2537

As a workaround, you could set up the build to send emails to your jira, and create bug reports using automation on the jira side.

There are other questions on this community, and some answers have suggested using a REST API call: Here

Or using the pre-post build command plugin to achieve the same result
