Insight migration to another server

Hi,

We're planning a Jira (and Insight) server migration to another server instance.

I could not find documentation around this topic. Any idea's/best practices to share?

Hi Berry,

Unfortunately, our add-on Insight Assets Backup & Migration does not yet support migration from server to server.

We will keep you up to date.

However, if you ever want to migrate Asset object schemas from server to Cloud instance feel free to try the application.

Hey @Berry Kersten ,

Are you simply moving the Jira & Insight to another (new) machine or merging with another instance?

If it's a new one, you can just backup/restore the entire DB and you'll have all the issues/projects and also everything Insight related.

We are merging with another instance. Any thoughts for this use case?
