Does an Analytics Dashboard restrict Project access based on a Jira user's project access?

If a Jira Cloud user is provided access to an Analytics dashboard and the dashboard has a project selector, will Analytics restrict the projects the user can view?

This is Tejaswi from the Analytics support team and happy to assist :) 

Currently, we don't sync the permission Jira project permission with the analytics and hence analytics does not restrict projects. We have an FR ANALYTICS-110 for this request. Please upvote and add yourself as a watcher for this request.
